Wild Salmon
Omega-3's have been shown to improve appearance, lower triglyceride levels and even help to protect against heart attacks. Salmon is an incredible source of this. The essential fatty acids it contains help to keep you skin smooth and glowing, and your hair shiny. Whilst farmed salmon is nearly as good, wild salmon is more beneficial – It tastes better too!
It is not just about the Omega-3
Broccoli
Broccoli is the perfect accompaniment to wild salmon. It is stuffed full of vitamins and anti-aging nutrients that all help to combat the effects of passing years. The vitamins include B-Vitamin Folate which helps the brains synapses, and K1 which helps to increase the density of bone, and thus reduces the risks of fractures. Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds have always been part of our diet
Some of the best varieties of nuts and seeds for their ant-aging properties are Almonds, Walnuts, Flaxseeds and Pumpkin seeds. Mix them up to ensure a range of nutrients are being taken on board such as calcium, omega-3's, fiber and zinc. Only eat a handful or two a day though in order to keep an eye on the calories.
